Active Duty Military Dads are invited to bring their children on a Day Trip to Beaver Lake at the Mataguay Scout Reservation ( Located in Santa Isabel off of HWY 79- about 1 hour and 45 minutes from San Diego) for a fun full day of catch and release fishing, photos, prizes and a BBQ lunch on April 3rd from 9am to 3pm. ( Families must attend the whole day)

A Candy Easter Egg hunt by the Heartland Lions club will also be hosted for military children ages 4-8. All poles, bait, tackle and boats will be provided!

This Free Fishing Trip is a great family bonding tool for Military Dads, and is open only to Active Duty Military Dads and their dependent Children ages 4-17. We do a lot of fun events for military moms so we want to make sure we don't forget our great military dads too!

No pets or alcohol is allowed. And no fishing license is required! Families must provide their own transportation to Beaver Lake and must check in at 9am at the event and be able to stay the entire event until check out at 3pm. (FYI, this event takes place the day before Easter).
